Consultant Developmental Psychologist

Prathama Raghavan is a developmental psychologist and psychotherapist with a PhD from Université Paul-Valéry, France. Her work and life are informed by principles of disability justice, narrative practices, transformative justice and somatic practices.

She has continued to work in parts of India and Nepal on disability & mental health with children, adults and families for nearly 2 decades. She has been doing trainings and workshops on mental health & disability, on self and collective care with diverse groups of people. She is passionate about Autism, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), languages and natural ecosystems.

She was part of the Staff Counselling Team with the UN World Food Programme supporting families for the Asia regional office. She has previously worked with humanitarian organisations Action Contre La Faim (ACF), Medecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Medecins du monde (MdM) in different countries in child & family well-being, doing mental health support, trainings and coordination work.

Hashana Shrestha is a clinical psychologist from Nepal and a certified Gestalt therapist, dedicated to supporting mental health and emotional well-being across diverse communities. With experience in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and evidence-based interventions, she works with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of psychological and psychosocial challenges. Hashana is committed to making mental health care accessible, fostering resilience, and promoting awareness through her clinical practice, workshops, and community engagement. She is registered with the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC No. 20).

Co-founder

Anita Prajapati is a Founding member of Samatha Psychosocial Care Pvt., Ltd and holds a dual Master’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.With more than a decade of experience across counseling,  community mental health, consultancy and research. Her work is rooted in the belief that people are always responding and deserve spaces that honour their context and experience. 

She has worked with children, adults, families, communities and currently teaches and supervises on Narrative practices diploma at Narrative Practices India Collectives. Anita brings  narrative practices, somatic practices and stitching stories in therapeutic spaces to nurture resilience and wellbeing, and remains guided  by wonder and possibility she finds in daydreaming- a magic space she has cherished since childhood.

Consultant 

Aditi is an Occupational therapist and Director and Co-founder of Narrative Practices India Collective.

Aditi has done Bachelors of Occupational therapy from Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai and Masters of Occupational therapy from University of Southern California, Los Angeles.. They have worked for several years in New York supporting disabled children and their caregivers in clinical and school set up..  Also worked as trainer and mentor for community based organisations across India for early childhood development and disability..  Presently Aditi is engaged in working with children, young adults, adults and communities.. They also are trainer and supervisor for diploma in narrative practices.. Exploring the influence of narrative ideas and occupational therapy while working with people and communities resonates with Aditi..

Aditi enjoys to exist in spaces that are comfortable with the quiet and welcome lingering.. They try to hold close the fluidity in life.. Their most favorite place in the world is their bed.. They love to do things, not do things, read science fiction, vibe to music, play games and just exist from the bed.. Given a chance, Aditi can spend their entire lifetime experiencing the horizonless
